Pierce County Beekeepers Association is proud to offer our licensed Honey House for rent to members and local beekeepers. Located on the WSU campus, this fully equipped food processing kitchen gives you everything you need to extract, process, and bottle your honey harvest in a clean, professional, and licensed facility — no need to invest in expensive equipment of your own. What's Included: Our Honey House features an 18-frame all-season electric extractor, capable of handling both shallow and deep frames with ease, making quick work of even a large harvest. All the uncapping supplies you need are provided, along with nitrile gloves and bucket strainers, so you can walk in with your frames and walk out with clean, filtered honey. For those ready to bottle, we offer a Honey Bottling Tank with a generous capacity of six 5-gallon buckets at once, perfect for larger batches and streamlining your bottling day. Pair that with our Speed Bottle Filler, designed to accommodate a variety of bottle sizes, and you can bottle efficiently without the mess and hassle of hand-pouring. Whether you're a hobbyist with a few hives or managing a larger operation, the Honey House gives you access to commercial-grade equipment in a licensed setting, helping you produce a professional, market-ready product. Availability: Because the Honey House is located on the WSU campus, it is only available for rental when the campus is open. This means the facility is not available on weekends or during campus holidays.
